November... 2009

Finally peeps, I am able to update this thing.
Life has been.... complicated? Stressful? But all in all wonderful :)

Here I am struggling to catch up... again... today I am posting all about your month of November. (Shhhh don't tell me it is already almost May 2010... what?)

First item up... Justin's birthday... his last year of being in his 20s!!!!

We started off the special day by heading to a breakfast brunch buffet... mmmm yummy. Here is his special treat for being the birthday boy.

Mason was so happy everyone sang to his daddy!

Next up we were off to go bowling...

doing good babe!

Seriously Gabriella?

Sunday, November 15, we all attended our first ever Cardinals game... it was fun!

Another great treat... Nana and Papa Stewart were visiting for a lot of the month, and it was wonderful for the kids to spend some quality time with them. They also brought us a special new addition to the family... Maddie... pictures will come soon!!

Gabby got her first piano... she is playing so well now!

Then it was time to start preparing for the wonderful Holiday Season... first up Thanksgiving. Here is Gabriella at her Thanksgiving pageant at school.

We had two Thanksgivings this year, merely hours apart... boy were we full. But both were so enjoyable. First up, the kids at Uncle Ken's house... a nice turkey dinner with family by the pool... who could ask for more (sorry I was lame and didn't take any pictures of that... )

Our second dinner was at Justin's great Aunt Corrine's house... it was wonderful as well... thank you for having us! And sorry I don't have any pictures to share :( I need to get better about bringing the camera along and actually taking pictures!

Now isn't this project cute? And we even got 2 free rolls of toilet paper... nice :)

The day after Thanksgiving we headed off to Flagstaff to enjoy a wonderful, winter weekend... here is Mason as typical as he can be in the car...

Saturday night we were on a magical adventure of Polar Express. It was amazing as we waited for the train and it actually started snowing on us!

Ok... so it was really coming down... finally the train showed up for some hot chocolate, cookies and caroling!

So after we got off of the train, we had to drive 30 miles back to Flagstaff. Because of the winter storm moving through the area... it took us over 2 hours to get there! Yikes... the roads were horrible. Thank goodness we made it back safe and sound.
The next morning we woke up and went to find some good sledding.

Trying to make our way up to Wing Mountain to sled... it wasn't open yet... but check out this cool picture of the snow storm on the top of Snow Bowl Ski Area!

Because Wing Mountain wasn't open yet, we settled on NAU campus... which became a popular destination for all that day. Needless to say the snow was melting fast... but it was still lots of fun!

Hopefully I can post more soon to get caught up! Til then... take care everyone!
