Here is a recap of all of the vacations we have had since the beginning of 2009. Can you believe we are already 8 months into this year?? WHAT???
So first off... wayyyy back in March, many moons ago, we explored the frozen land of Minnesota. Our good friends, the Jacksons live outside of Minneapolis, and we went to see them. It had been almost 2 years since we last saw each other, as we all moved from our homes in NY at around the same time. Jeremy and Justin were stationed together in NY and became friends. They MADE Amanda become friends with me, and because she felt sorry for me having to go through my pregnancy with Gabby alone, she decided when I got pregnant with Mason that she might as well get pregnant too ;) So, Amanda and I delivered precious baby boys only weeks apart. It was sad that we were all able to share so much in NY, and then have to move our separate directions. So alas, before Mason turned two... and I mean we are talking the days before he turned two, we boarded a plain to the snowy land. We had so much fun!
Keeping the ritual alive... always read before bed!
Time to play in the snow!
Warming up with toys and books after a morning of cold fun!
Go Paisley!! (It looks like their dog Paisley is going to seriously kick the crap out of Justin...) Naww they were playing fetch with snowballs... such an AWESOME dog Paisley is!

Us getting ready to leave to head back to AZ

What a wonderful trip we had, and just the kind of R&R we needed. We mainly rested a lot, and enjoyed every minute in the comfort of the Jackson's home. Not to mention Amanda's fantastic cooking feeding our tummies every day. We really miss you guys and need you to come out and visit us... soooooooon!
We took the month of April off with travels of great length. Then in May we headed to San Diego for 10 days to spend the vacation with my parents. Unfortunately the weather didn't comply as we wished it had, and many of the days were quite cold, overcast and rainy. However, the first 3 days were beautifully sunny, and thankfully we managed to get some time at the beach. Oh and a BIG THANK YOU to the Jackson's for being our professional photographer on our vacay, so as we didn't have to lug the big camera along!
For Mother's Day, I had a photographer meet us in Coronado and take family pictures of my entire family. Here are the candids...

Well... that wraps up the travels we have taken so far. I am sure there will be many more to come as we plan to take Kristina on a few trips to see America! Speaking of Kristina, she comes TOMORROW!! The countdown has begun... I have officially run out of time, and feel I have so much more to get done before she comes... oh well... all will be fine! So I will try to update this more frequently now as, A: Blogger has become a royal pain in the bum as far as loading pictures and B: I want to journal Kristina's stay with us as well as I can so as her parents can keep an eye on her back in Germany!
We love you all... stay tuned shortly for a blog with lovely pictures from Gabby's dance recital back in June! I am trying to play catch up... can't ya tell!?
